It’s been exhausting couple weeks.
It’s wild how people are pretending the DCU is supposed to feel “fully formed” already. It’s not. We’re still in the foundation phase, yet every casting rumor, every quiet week, every project not announced on someone’s personal wishlist is treated like a five alarm fire.
That isn’t analysis. That’s impatience dressed up as concern. DC Studios is moving deliberately, not chaotically, and there’s a massive difference between the two.
What’s encouraging is that despite the noise, the actual roadmap hasn’t wavered. Superman is still the cornerstone, Supergirl continues to look like the smart follow up and projects like Lanterns and Clayface show a studio willing to take creative risks instead of chasing trend of the week hype.
DC doesn’t need constant announcements to prove it’s alive. It needs consistency, restraint, and time. And ironically, the people demanding patience for years are now the ones least willing to give it.
