Sure, the SnyderVerse Could Return | But Not The Way You Think.
Yes, the SnyderVerse could return one day… Did he just say what I think he did?
Look, Anything in Hollywood is technically possible. right?
Reboots get rebooted. Cancelled shows get revived. Actors come back from “never again” declarations.
We’ve all lived long enough to never say never.
But if it did happen? It would absolutely not be because some buyer like David Ellison wants to resurrect two films from a decade old cinematic universe that he probably has no knowledge of.
It would be for one reason and one reason only
The new owners believe it would be profitable.
Not emotional. Not nostalgic. Not conspiratorial… Profitable.
And right now? No company on Earth has bid on Warner Bros. Discovery because they want to finish Zack Snyder’s five film arc.
Not a single one.
Think logically about it.
Two different owners
AT&T and WBD looked at the numbers, the cost, the long term strategic value, and came to the conclusion that continuing that storyline did not serve their bottom line or their brand direction.
That’s reality… There was no conspiracy against Zack. It came down to the bottom line.
So if a future buyer brings Snyder back?
It won’t be because of hashtags.
It won’t be because of wishful thinking.
It won’t be because “this time it’s different.”
It will be because they believe there’s money to be made.
But Right Now? Nobody Knows Anything. Not Fans. Not YouTubers. Not “Insiders.”
There is currently no sale completed, no regulatory review passed, no leadership confirmed, no greenlit movie, no contract signed and no studio with a stated intention to resurrect Snyder’s universe.
And yet somehow… the same cycle from 2020 and 2021 is repeating itself.
A vague social media post here. A conveniently timed “insider tease” there. A few grifters whispering “big things coming…” on X.
The machine revs up.
The theories resurrect. The fanbase gets emotionally manipulated for clicks, follows, and engagement.
We’ve seen this movie before. It ends the same way every time.
Snyder Knows Exactly What He’s Doing | and So Do the Grifters
Let’s be honest here, Zack Snyder is a master marketer. Always has been. He knows how to tease his fanbase, spark hype, and keep engagement high… especially when he has a new movie to promote.
The grifters know that too.
They profit off dangling hope.
They profit off stirring drama.
They profit off emotional investment.
They’re playing fans like a violin just others did in 2020-2021… because it works.
Every like, every repost, every comment fuels their revenue.
Is a SnyderVerse comeback possible? Sure. Is it happening because of any of these people?
Absolutely not.
A Reality Check Before You Start Celebrating
Look, if the stars aligned, if a buyer decided it was financially smart, if the actors were available, if the timing worked, and if Snyder wanted to do it… a continuation could happen.
Again… never say never.
But the likelihood of that scenario lining up is still far smaller than people want to believe.
Not impossible… just not something anyone should bet their sanity on.
So take a breath. Stop planning your celebratory dance in the closet. Stop acting like you’ve already won the entertainment lottery.
Hope is fine. Hype is fine. But delusion? That’s how you get hurt.
You can be excited about the possibility without falling for the illusion of certainty.
If the SnyderVerse returns… As long as it is not at the expense of the DCU… then GREAT! Celebrate. Enjoy it. I’ll be right there with you breaking down scenes frame by frame.
But until a new owner actually signs a contract, evaluates the IP library, reviews revenue projections, and decides “Yes, this is worth our money”…
it’s all noise.
Stay hopeful, but stay grounded.
Hollywood is unpredictable, but math usually wins.
