Avengers: Doomsday
Doctor Doom begins as a man on a mission, not a tyrant.
Scarred by his past we see him healed by Franklin Richards in the mid credits scene of Fantastic Four: First Steps. Revealing his true self to the team.
Now, Doom turns his eyes outward and asks Richards for help.
The Multiverse is dying… universes colliding in catastrophic Incursions. (What happened to Loki!?)
Doom requests Reed to help create a way to traverse the Multiverse to extinguishing Incursions one by one.
This includes the events of Avengers: Endgame… Events in Fox Universes and even Sony Universes.
Reed Unaware of what the consequences are at first helps him. But once he realizes what is happening he tries to find a way to stop him.
Along Doom’s Journey heroes from o ther Universes rise to stop him, but none succeed.
However, each victory convinces Doom of one thing… he needs more power to finish the job.
That power reveals itself in the form of The Beyonder, an unfathomable being observing Doom’s crusade from afar. The Beyonder offers him a challenge an all out trial of heroes and villains across creation on a world stitched together from fragments of broken universes: Battleworld. To the Beyonder, it’s a test. To Doom, it’s an opportunity. Because while others fight for survival, Doom secretly plots to steal the Beyonder’s power for himself.
As Battleworld descends into chaos, alliances fracture. Avengers, mutants, the Fantastic Four—all rally against the villains unleashed. Reed Richards, desperate and driven, searches for a way to save what remains of reality. Yet every time the heroes gain ground, villains strike them back down, ensuring Doom’s path remains clear.
And then it happens: Doom seizes the Beyonder’s essence. In a blinding act of godhood, he reshapes existence into his vision a new universe, remade in Doom’s image.
Reed finally uncovers a solution, a fragile lifeline for survival. But he’s too late. Doom has already claimed the prize. Reed’s plan becomes not a salvation, but a spark of resistance carried into the next age.
The Multiverse collapses. Only Doom’s will endures.
Avengers: Secret Wars
Five years later, Doom’s gamble has paid off… but in the worst way possible. He succeeded in stealing the Beyonder’s power. Now, he rules as God Doom, reshaping a single reality into his own twisted kingdom.
Franklin, now 9, has been brainwashed into believing he’s Doom’s son.
Sue Storm has been manipulated into thinking she is Doom’s wife.
Heroes and villains alike bend the knee to his power.
This isn’t a dictatorship, it’s a GOD king scenario.
Doom has remade the world in his image, all in the name of “saving” what remained.
But then, hope (and chaos) arrive.
A mysterious ship lands, carrying a regal, redefined King Thanos and his Order. Doom’s forces move to contain him but are easily destroyed. Instead of conquering, Thanos allows himself to be captured curious to see the man who dares call himself God.
At the same time, Reed Richards’ lost ship finally resurfaces, carrying a small group of heroes. They encounter Loki, who recounts how Doom seized control. Together, they begin plotting to dismantle Doom’s empire.
When Doom confronts Thanos, he first imagines a partnership. But Thanos, true to form, only covets power. Their duel is swift and brutal Doom kills him, solidifying his rule.
The final act escalates into an all out war. Reed and his surviving heroes challenge Doom, only to realize the Multiverse is permanently gone. One universe can remain, Doom’s… or nothing.
The heartbreaking climax comes when Reed realizes Franklin is the only one capable of undoing Doom’s godhood.
In the ultimate sacrifice, Reed must use his son against the man who has twisted him, forcing Franklin to unmake Doom and rewrite reality itself.
The cost? The Multiverse will never return.. erasing the many who they have met along the way. Which means only one new universe can rise from the ashes… But who will remain and what new faces will be introduced?
