Brainiac to Be Villain in ‘Man of Tomorrow’ | Says The Wrap

DC

According to their exclusive report, Superman and Lex Luthor will be teaming up in Man of Tomorrow… and their enemy? BRAINIAC. Yep. The big green puppet master himself.

Now before anyone starts carving this into stone tablets, let’s get this out of the way

This is ONLY coming from TheWrap.
No other trades have confirmed it.
James Gunn and DC Studios have said absolutely nothing.

So treat this with a very healthy grain of cosmic, alien salt.

But damn… if true? Oh this is HUGE.

Production for Man of Tomorrow is gearing up in Atlanta this April, with the film landing July 9, 2027and honestly, fans have suspected Brainiac from day one.

Why? Because the movie’s entire premise hinges on a temporary Superman Lex Luthor alliance, and let’s be real… It takes one hell of a threat to make Lex stop being Lex.

Gunn already teased this idea during the Peacemaker Season 2 finale press conference. When TheWrap asked what could possibly push Lex into teaming up with his number one enemy, Gunn didn’t drop a name… but he did drop a wink with,

“A pretty pronounced one.”

If Brainiac really is the villain? Yeah… that qualifies.

But again, until Gunn, DC Studios, or another major outlet confirms it, keep your hype in check. This could be the real deal… or just another moment where the fandom runs wild.

Either way, it’s fun as hell to speculate.
